The Extra-Terrestrial Guide to the Galaxy

A free pixel-art zine about our neighbours in the cosmos, and about what’s really happening down here on Earth. Every issue mixes real UFO news, hearings and famous cases (with sources) with alien dossiers, channelled messages, Galactic Federation announcements, one very tired Grey called Derek and a deeply suspicious man called Kevin.

Funny where it can be. True where it counts. Look for the Earth Desk badge.

FAQ

Zine questions

Are the zines really free?

Yes. Sign up with your email and the download links for every issue appear straight away.

Do I need to sign up again for each new issue?

No. Once you’re on The Signal, new issues arrive in your inbox automatically.

How often do new issues come out?

Whenever the intel is good enough. Subscribers hear first.

Is any of it true?

Some of it! Anything under the lilac Earth Desk badge is real reporting: dates, hearings, laws, named witnesses and official findings, with sources at the bottom of the page. The species dossiers and channelled messages report what people believe. Derek is, as far as we know, made up.

Can I print them?

Of course. They’re A5, so they print nicely as little booklets.

Is there anything for kids?

Yes: the free ET Guide Field Kit, with colouring, puzzles, codes, a board game and a real science experiment, all based on the zines. It’s in the subscriber vault.

Who makes the zines?

TJ Hayes, author of The Galactic Zoo picture books and The Hollow War.
